Yesterday was quite the awesome day. Claire and I decided to have a Glee/dye Claire's hair/make Julia Child's boeuf bourguignon. We met up at noun to do some shopping (I wanted shorts to take to Greece) and buy the ingredients. We stumbled upon some kind of wine tasting event on Rue Béranger. You bought a glass for 2 euros and then you could try wine from all these different wineries that had set up all up and down the street. There was also the regular Saturday market going on, and Claire and I bought a thing of 20 daffodils to split. They are so pretty and make my room feel quite Springy :) Voila some pictures from the last few days:
Claire, Katie, Kayla (and me!) out for dinner at Hippopotamus. Yes, that really is the name :D
Down the street from my place
What, you mean you don't walk around French streets drinking wine? Pity.
The delicious boeuf bourguignon that Claire and I made, served with bow tie pasta and a baguette to soak up the delicious sauce :D
Which brings us to Sunday. I am about to start my last week of classes before my two week April break. Claire and I go up to Paris on the 3rd, fly to Athens on the 4th, meet up with Lara, take the ferry to Santorini on the 5th, ferry back to Athens on the 9th, say good bye to Lara on the 10th, fly back to Paris on the 12th, and head back to Tours on the 15th. Wheee!!
