Hello all!
I don't know if anyone actually reads this, judging by the comments, or lack thereof, but I like writing it and it'll be a great souvenir, so write I shall =)
Today I paid my last month's rent :( In less than a month I will be leaving Tours *cries* My flight out of Paris leaves around noun on May 1st, so I will probably go up to Paris on April 30th and splurge on a hotel close to CDG airport that has a shuttle. I'm a pretty nervous traveler (thank-you OCD) and although I would definitely have time to get from Tours to the airport in Paris on the 1st, I think it'll be less stress all around to just know I am there and that on the 1st I can sleep in a bit and get to the airport early and well-rested.
I got something in the mail today from CAF (that's the housing assistance you can get here). I got the woman at the accueil (reception) at my hostel to fill the form out, went to take it in, and lo and behold they closed early today because they are so backed up with work. Only in France would a place close during hours they are normally open instead of working OT. Somehow I highly doubt the French even know what OT is. So, unfortunately I won't get to hand in the paperwork until I am back from Greece and Paris. However, they have at last given me a tracking number, so I can check out the status of my application online.
Spent the rest of the day cleaning, and have a pile of things on my bed to be put in my travel pack. Claire and mine's train leaves at 7h06 tomorrow (Saturday) morning and I am meeting her at 6h15.
Funny story. Today when my alarm went off at 8h15 for my 9h00 class I seriously debated not going. But, good student that I am, I got up and went. I was the ONLY person who showed up. A few people had told the prof they would not be there (leaving early for our 2 week vacation) but others hadn't told her so she was expecting enough people to have a class. Anyways she had brought chocolates for easter and some puff pastries from the boulangerie so we ate, chated for a bit, and then I left lol.
I guess that’s all for now! I’m not bringing Fitz with me on this trip (Fitz being my trusty Macbook btw) but I will be able to get online.
bisous,
Darcy

Just how many pastries and chocolates did you eat? Will your swimsuit still fit? 24 degrees in Athens today! Enjoy XOX
Erm...I do not think I know how to count that high, in any language *hangs head in shame* Gorgeous here in Santorini, taking a sail boat to a volcano and hot springs tomorrow and renting a car to drive to a beach the day after.
Love,
Darcy
