I made it to Germany! Quite a bit later than expected (ie what my train ticket said) but I got to Erlangen and Cat met me at the train station. Today we got up and went back to the train station to reserve my tickets to Poland (with the eurail pass you can travel whenever you want but you need to reserve you seats on your train of choice and there's a small reservation fee). I paid about 9 euros for my German-Poland and Poland-Germany reservations. My eurail pass is for 4 countries (France, Germany, Poland, and Benelux) and 6 days of travel in 2 months. I had to get Benelux to get the other 3 countries (just the way eurail passes work) so looks like I'll get to go to Holland! Hopefully I will be able to meet up with my Dutch friends (they came to Bishop's on exchange) :D So back to Poland, our train leaves tomorrow at 5:40am. Ouch! I like to get to where I'm going earlier rather than later though. Much easier to find your way in the daylight! That's all for now,
Love,
Darcy
