A girl in one of my classes told me about this thing where if you open up a French bank account you can get a portion of your rent reimbursed? I asked the International coordinator about it and he said to talk to the people at the hostel.  That would be awesome! I'm paying almost 500$ a month in rent.

Also, yesterday I spend the most worthwhile 15 euros ever.  I have not been sleeping well here and I think it is because my bed is so hard and I am used to a much softer mattress.  I went to the monoprix to pick up a few groceries and they had fluffy comforters on for 15 euros.  I folded it in half and put my fitted sheet over top and tahdah! I am sleeping on a cloud! I haven't seen pillows here for less than 20 euros which I refuse to pay and this is definitely more worth it.  Yay comfier bed!
