Hello everyone!
I am going to my first class today at 4:30pm, History of France. So far I have that, Actualités (Journalism), Oral French, written French , linguistics, French grammar, Analysis of practical language, European Culture, Analysis of linguistic representations, and Semantics. I think I can drop one but I will go to all of them at fist so I can see which one seems the most boring! I bought a backpack today, as I thought I could use it for traveling as well so I don't have to check luggage in. It was 50% off!! And where am I traveling to you may ask? Greece! I have spent the last couple of days checking out hostels and flights and I think I could do 8 days for around 500$ CAD. Not bad I don't think :D Crete seems to have cheap hostels so I'm thinking of flying into Athens, going to Crete for most of the time, then going back to Athens for the last couple of days and flying back to Paris. Hmmm Mom and Dad, how do you feel about mailing my bathing suit? Clothes are so expensive here :S I mean the black and white polka-dotted one.
Yesterday Clare and I met up and went to the meeting for exchange students. I am in the most advanced level for exchange student classes (that's what the first 4 classes listed above are-but I need double the credits they will give me so I have to take actual French classes too).
I may check out where the Beamont-Hamel Newfoundland Memorial is for Uncle Pat this weekend. Just have to figure out where it is first :) Anyways gonna go make some lunch,

Be sure to post pics if you visit the NL memorial. I remember learning about it in highschool. :)

Sure will post pics of the NL memorial! I really want to go. I know I need more pics...I haven't wanted to to take any of Tours because I haven't seen anyone else walking around with a camera, it's not as touristy as Paris. I am going on 3 tours of different castles, so there will definitely be pics of those little trips :) Let me know when you get your postcard, you get the very first one :)
