Skype

Boo skype! Tried to skype mom and dad tonight but it did not want to work.  Grrr!! I did get my new visa in the mail today (apparently you can get mail on Sundays in France?) so I will call to activate it tomorrow.  Hopefully I can get through somehow. 

Micka decided to play basket instead so we went out for coffee after he finished playing.  I think I will have the rest of my pizza from last night.  We have a fancy toaster oven at the hostel and it works quite nicely.  I am really craving smoked salmon on bagel with creme cheese though :(  Also, if anybody wants to send me bottled teriyaki sauce, that would be just super.  I would really like to make stirfries here but I cannot find any sauces like that.  I could buy a little chicken breast and fry it up with some quinoa and veggies and voila, yummy dinner!  Also, quinoa is very expensive here so send some of that too while you're at it hehe.  Some Purdy's wouldn't hurt either...Mother!

Boo classes tomorrow.  I have one at 9am on Fridays and that is rough let me tell you haha.  My earliest class at Bishop's all last year was 1pm.

So...educational considerations.  Lately (this thought isn't new, merely reacurring) I have been thinking more about grad school.   Specifically, speech language pathology.  Dal has an awesome sounding program.  It is three years in length but does not have any prereqs.  U of A has courses that people who are already SLPs can take or you can take them if you are in a SPL program and they are courses to specifically work with Francophone populations.  So here are some options...do French PDP right after I finish at Bishop's and work for a couple years, then do the program at Dal and the courses at U of A during my summer break from Dal...or try for Dal right away? I do not think I have good enough grades though :S Frig I'll be like 30 by the time this is all said and done.  Le sigh....
