This is my walk on the moon

Less than 24 hours and I will on a plane to Dublin. I'm both excited and flat out terrified! Very nervous about flying through Chicago; apparently it is one of the 6 worst airports to fly out of in the US! I have just over an hour to catch my next flight from there and I am crossing my fingers that everything goes smoothly. I called the airline and they said if the flight gets cancelled they will find me another flight, it would just be extremely inconvenient. Also, I decided that I wanted to get a new camera so I went out to Photo Express and found the exact one I was looking for :D



I've played around with it a bit and it seems super easy to use. For what it is it was decently priced too. The main thing I was looking for was lots of zoom and it had to use AA batteries. I figure this will be better for when I am traveling and not always close to an outlet to recharge a battery pack like my current Nikon coolpix uses. Other than that I am all packed up. My travel pack is super comfy even when full so yay for that!

I might be going to visit my friend Cat in Germany after I get settle in to my hostel in Tours. It would be great to see her! I have 10 days in France before the semester starts so I thought it might be a good time to see her. Hopefully we are going to Euro Disney at some point together too! To start off with in Ireland I booked a bus day tour to Wicklow and it includes pick up and drop-off at the airport. I haven't decided how I'm getting from Ireland to France yet. Better get on that! I'll update when I get to Dublin as soon as I can.
